ESA Registration of America has teamed up with a network of licensed mental health professionals to provide an online live video consultation service to prescribe written recommendations for an Emotional Support Animal.


The letter is what will determine the legal status of your Emotional Support Animal when renting a new home or flying on an airline. It will protect you under the federal laws Fair Housing Act and Air Carrier Access Act.  


Having the proper documentaion for an ESA will exempt you from paying pet rental fees or pet travel fees depending on which letter you decide to purchase. 




Travel LetterAll major airlines not limited to Alaska, Hawaii, American, Delta, United, JetBlue, Frontier and many others as of 2018 will now require additional documentation called reasonable accommodation forms to be completed by a licensed therapist who is currently treating you. Unfortunately these forms cannot be completed by our therapist unless you are located in the following states - California, Texas, or Oklahoma. Please note if you reside in these states and wish to purchase the travel letter you will require an ongoing treatment plan with your therapist before they can complete the reasonable accommodation forms. There is an additional cost to this of $198.00 for 4 sessions. After 2 sessions the reasonable accommodation form can be completed. This service is only available for those residing in the US and holding US citizenship. A government issued ID is required and will need to be presented to the therapist at the time of evaluation. At this time we only provide ESA letters for Dogs and Cats. All other animals are excluded.


Process:



  1. Due to HIPAA compliance all assessments will be conducted with a simple-to-use video, audio, and content sharing platform which works with any smartphone or webcam enabled computer. Your assigned therapist will send you an email with the HIPAA compliant conference link and details. Please be aware before purchasing.

  2. Instant PDF download available after approval.

  3. If a landlord requires a reasonable accommodation form there is a $75 additional fee. Please contact us and a representative will help take your payment and start the process. Reasonable accommodation forms can only be completed for those who have already undergone an evaluation with one of our licensed therapist.

  4. There are no refunds on completed evaluations and approval is based upon therapist recommendation. Our evaluations are contracted to a third party therapist company. ESA Registration of America does not conduct the evaluations.

Three (3) Laminated Mini ID Cards (IDs are made with the handler’s and animal’s name along with the photograph that is submitted at registration. The handler, animal’s name and photograph cannot be changed after the order has been submitted.

Along with the letter, you’ll receive two ID’s that feature your name and the picture and name of your ESA. We also add three mini ID’s that easily fit on a keychain or lanyard, guaranteeing that you’ll never be without proper identification. All our orders are shipped USPS domestic mail. We do not offer international shipping. Our standard free shipping option for non-embroidered items will take 5-7 business days for delivery excluding weekend days and holidays. Embroidered items can take anywhere from 10-14 business days for delivery.

*Priority Mail Delivery - Delivery within 2-3 business days* for only $10.00. Please note if this method is selected and your order contains Embroidery the order can take up to 2 business days for processing before it leaves our warehouse. 


**Rush Processing/Overnight Shipping is available if needed for only $49.50 and you could have your package in as little as 24-48 hours.
